Padel has grown faster in the UAE than distribution has kept up with. Several of the strongest UK and European racket brands still have no Gulf distributor, which means clubs and retailers are either paying a re-exporter's markup or waiting months for stock that was never allocated to the region in the first place.
Buying direct from the manufacturer removes that layer. On a typical racket order the difference between a re-exported price and a direct UK trade price is enough to cover the freight several times over.
What a realistic order looks like
A first order is usually a mixed pallet: two or three racket models across club and intermediate ranges, a few hundred balls, grips and bags. That is well under a container, so it moves as LCL and still lands at a sensible cost per unit.
Court builds are different. Nets, posts, glass, fencing and turf come from several manufacturers, and shipping them separately is what makes a court project expensive. Consolidating them into one container is the single biggest saving available on a court fit-out.
