Who we are
Corda International is a UK importer and consumer brand owner, registered in England and Wales (company number 17372631). We are the data controller for personal data collected through cordainternational.com.

What data we collect
Supplier application form: your name, job title, company name, company type, country, website, email, phone, WhatsApp or WeChat details, product details, prices, files you upload (such as catalogues) and shipping information.
Contact form: your name, company, email and message.
Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, WeChat or phone.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
We use your data to review your application, reply to your messages, request samples and quotes, place and manage orders, and keep records of our suppliers.
Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests: we need business contact details to find and work with suppliers. When we place an order, we also rely on contract. We keep some records to meet legal duties, such as tax and accounting rules.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it
If we do not work together, we keep your application for up to two years so we can contact you about future products, then delete it.
If you become a supplier, we keep your details while we work together and for six years after, to meet UK tax and accounting rules.
Contact form messages are kept for up to two years.
Who we share it with
We only share your data with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website hosting, database, email and messaging providers. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
We may share data if the law requires it.
International visitors
Many of our suppliers are outside the UK. When you send us your data, it is stored and used in the UK. Some of our service providers may store data outside the UK. When this happens, we make sure suitable safeguards are in place, such as UK-approved contract terms.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to limit how we use it, to object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a format you can move to another company.
To use any of these rights, including a request to delete your data, email info@cordainternational.com. We will reply within one month.
How to complain
If you are unhappy with how we use your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or by phone on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
Our website does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. It stores only the strictly necessary language preference in your browser so the site can remember whether you chose English or Chinese.
